FlexRadio’s MLS-9605 high-power wideband HF communications system builds on the proven ML-9600X architecture and scales it to a rugged, high-duty-cycle 5 kW power level for the most demanding long-range missions. The system combines the ML-9600X wideband SDR transceiver with four 1.25 kW amplifier modules and an integrated system controller, delivering exceptional HF performance with seamless interoperability across MIL-STD and NATO waveforms. With up to 78 kHz transmit bandwidth, 1.2 MHz receive bandwidth, and full support for 2G/3G/4G ALE and MIL-STD-188-110D/141D protocols, the MLS-9605 enables high-bandwidth, high-reliability HF communications in challenging fixed, deployed, or remote-controlled installations.
Engineered for resilience in poor-propagation and contested-spectrum environments, the MLS-9605’s 5,000-watt amplifier subsystem provides the power margin required for long-haul BLOS transport, high-duty-cycle data operations, and mission-critical voice and EW/ISR support. The integrated system controller presents a unified control interface—identical to the MLS-9601—allowing easy software integration, simplified upgrades from 1 kW systems, and consistent API behavior across all power levels. Leveraging the open SmartSDR™ API with VITA-49 streaming, the MLS-9605 supports rapid integration, custom waveform development, and advanced mission-specific applications.
