FlexRadio’s ML-9600 wideband Software Defined Radio delivers the same high-dynamic-range HF architecture and ultra-low-phase-noise performance as the ML-9600X—without the integrated modem suite. Designed for military, government, commercial, and research customers who rely on external modems, government-furnished waveforms, or proprietary DSP, the ML-9600 provides a clean, modern RF platform supporting 78 kHz transmit and up to 1.2 MHz receive bandwidth, enabling next-generation wideband HF waveforms and high-speed data transport when paired with customer-selected processing hardware. 

With IP-based Ethernet control, the ML-9600 integrates easily into fixed, mobile, and distributed systems via the included Windows client or the open SmartSDR™ API. The API supports plain-language command/control, VITA-49 RF/IF/FFT streaming, and flexible integration into R&D toolchains including GNU Radio. Optional precision time-stamping, support for diversity reception, and dual +10 dBm exciter outputs enhance system-level versatility for labs, integrators, and OEM waveform developers. When paired with FlexRadio’s high-power amplifier family, the ML-9600 becomes a scalable, standards-ready wideband HF transceiver that preserves full control of external modem and waveform processing.
